Out to 60’ in the Well
The deck extends to a 60 ft well when the load calls for it and closes back up for shorter freight.
Equipment
Extendable removable gooseneck trailers that stretch out to 60’ in the well, for long loads that still need to ride low.
What It Is
A stretch RGN works like our standard RGN, with one big difference: the deck telescopes. Ours extends out to 60’ in the well, so long freight is supported between the gooseneck and the rear axles instead of hanging off the back.
You may also hear it called an extendable RGN or an extendable lowboy. Whatever the name, the well stays low to the ground while it gains length, which helps tall, long pieces like data center coolers stay within height limits on the route.

The detachable gooseneck lets the front drop to the ground for loading, and the deck stays low once it is stretched out.

Recent Stretch RGN Move
A data center cooler module pulled out of a gravel yard in Irving on our stretch RGN and run across Dallas to Wilmer. See the route map and details on our recent moves page.
How We Plan It
Length changes the whole plan. Turning radius, overhang and how a stretched trailer tracks through intersections matter as much as weight. We start with the length, width, height and weight of the piece, plus where it can be picked and set at each end.
From there, our in-house permit team handles the oversize permits and runs route surveys for tight turns, ramps and rail crossings. Long loads often need pilot cars, and our own escort service covers that, so the truck is not sitting while someone else catches up.
Coverage
We are based in Dallas, Texas, and most of our stretch RGN work moves across the Southeast, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas and the Carolinas. Nationwide runs are available too. See all of the areas we serve.
Not sure your piece needs the extra length? Send us the dimensions. We will tell you honestly whether a stretch RGN, a standard RGN or a multi-axle setup is the better match, then quote the move.
Send us the length, width, height and weight, plus pickup and delivery, and we’ll quote the right stretch RGN setup.
